Today I went to photograph Pocklingtons Flying Man Festival! Upon arrival the weather started to breakdown. The event is a fund raiser for the church and remembers Thomas Pelling an 18th century showman who fell to death from the 16th century church tower in 1733 trying to fly! With the on set of the rain there was no abseiling/fliers. I did however come away with some good portraits thanks to Hannah and Mr Geoff Shearsby Pocklingtons Town Crier.  

Hope these few images from the 120 odd I took give you a feel of the day when a record 150,000 people came to Badminton to watch the worlds best fight it out on Cross Country Day!
